Fees

At Hesed Eye, we appreciate that the cost of medical care can be a concern and source of anxiety.
Therefore, we are committed to fair and transparent charges for all our services such as consultation, tests, medicines and surgery. This is our commitment to our patients:

1.

For our surgeries and procedures, we adhere to Ministry of Health Fee
Benchmarks for all our patients regardless of the status of the insurance panel,
meaning even for patients who are on insurance schemes where we are not on
panel we adhere to MOH fee benchmarks.

2.

We adhere to the panel rates for both consultation and procedures for all the insurance panels that we are on. (Please see below for the insurance panels that we are on).

3.

We also provide financial counseling using the prescribed Form B from the Ministry of Health providing a clear breakdown of the items that are charged for surgery before patients proceed for surgery with us. We will also advise on Medisave claimable amounts for the procedure and inform our patients of what any out-of-pocket charges there will be.

4.

We assist our patients in all their insurance related matters. Specifically we can assist in applying for Letter of Guarantee so that their procedure fees are pre-approved and they can have the ease of mind knowing beforehand that their procedural fees will be taken care of.

Our Consultation Charges

Our first consultation fee ranges from $150-220 depending on complexity and length of consultation. Together with preliminary tests, total cost including consult will be $300-$350 (before GST) which includes:

If any further tests or treatment are required, our doctor will discuss this with you and you will be informed of any additional charges .

Integrated Shield Plan Panel

We are on the following integrated shield plan panels and adhere to the prescribed panel rates for these insurance policies:

Integrated Shield Plan - Extended Panel

For our patients who are AIA policyholders we are on an extended panel and we assist by applying for Letter of Guarantee before surgery so that all the fees are preapproved which means our AIA patients do not need to pay any deposit or upfront payments. All our AIA patients have had their claims approved with no issues.

As our follow ups for post-surgery are all within 100 days, there is also no difference between being treated by us or a panel specialist.

The following is a chart on the difference between panel and extended panel provided by AIA.
